Refund and Return Policy
At Lara Louise Designs, we strive to provide a seamless and satisfactory experience for our clients. Please read our refund and return policy carefully to understand your responsibilities and rights when renting dresses or purchasing clothing and accessories.
Dress Rentals

Courier Costs
- Courier services for delivery and return of rental dresses can be arranged for an additional fee of R240 (R120 each way). Clients must select this option at the time of booking.
- Selecting the R0 option indicates that the client will personally handle the pick-up and return of the dress.

Cleaning
- Lara Louise Designs will manage the cleaning of all rental dresses. Clients are not required to clean or dry-clean the items before returning them.

Return Deadline
- All rented dresses must be returned within three days after the event.
- Late returns will incur a R120 fee per day.

Damage Responsibility
- Clients are responsible for the repair or replacement costs of any damages sustained during the rental period.
- Fees will vary based on the dress type and extent of the damage.

Return Process
- When returning a dress, ensure it is securely packaged to prevent additional damage during transit.

Damage Assessment and Payment
- Upon receiving the returned dress, it will be inspected for damages. If damage is found, an estimate for repair or replacement will be provided.
- Payment for damages must be made within 14 days.

Non-Return of Dress
- Failure to return the dress will result in a charge for its full retail value. Legal action may be pursued if necessary.

Liability Waiver
- Lara Louise Designs is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that occur while wearing rental dresses.

Agreement
- By proceeding with the rental, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms. Non-compliance may result in legal action.

Refunds, Exchanges & Vouchers
Please note that all our items are made to order, which means production begins as soon as your order is placed. For this reason, we do not offer refunds.
However, we are happy to assist with an exchange or issue a store voucher should you need an alternative size or style. Vouchers are valid for future purchases and allow you to find something you truly love.

Non-Exchangeable Items
- Accessories are non-exchangeable and non-refundable unless there is a verified quality issue that is not the fault of the buyer.
