DRESS RENTALS

1. Courier Costs

o Courier services for both delivery and return of the dress can be arranged for an additional fee of R240 (R120 each way). Clients must select this option when booking.

o Selecting the R0 option indicates the client will handle the pick-up and return of the dress personally.

2. Cleaning

o Cleaning of rental dresses is managed by us. Clients do not need to clean or dry-clean items before returning them.

3. Return Deadline

o Rented dresses must be returned within three days after the event. Late returns will incur a fee of R120 per day.

4. Damage Responsibility

o Clients are responsible for repair or replacement costs if the dress is damaged during the rental period. Charges will be determined by the dress type and damage extent.

5. Return Process

o Ensure the dress is securely packaged to avoid additional damage during transit when returning it.

6. Damage Assessment and Payment

o Upon return, the dress will be inspected. If damage is found, a repair or replacement estimate will be provided, and payment must be made within 14 days.

7. Non-Return of Dress

o Failure to return the dress will result in a charge for its full retail value. Legal action may be pursued in cases of non-compliance.

8. Liability Waiver

o Clients acknowledge that Lara Louise Designs is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur while wearing rental dresses.

9. Agreement

o Proceeding with the rental signifies agreement to these terms. Non-compliance may result in legal action.

CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES

1. Exchange Policy

o Clothing items can be exchanged within 15 days of purchase if they are unworn, in their original condition, and with all tags attached.

2. Non-Exchangeable Items

o Accessories are non-exchangeable or refundable unless there is a quality issue through no fault of the buyer.

o Damaged accessories must be returned within 14 days of purchase for inspection and exchange/refund consideration.

3. Damaged Items

o Clothing: Damaged items must be returned within 14 days.

Inspections check for:

1. Presence of human or animal hair.

2. Stains or damage caused by improper care.

o Accessories: Similarly, damaged items must be returned within 14 days for inspection.

4. Refunds and In-Store Credit

o No refunds, ONLY in-store and online vouchers will be issued after inspection and approval.

Vouchers are valid for three months and may only be used for the LLD Clothing Collection.

o Items returned remotely must be sent to Lara Louise Designs, 7 Bird Street, Stellenbosch, at the client’s expense.

5. Damaged Products Returned Remotely

o Clients must email photographs of the damaged items to info@laralouisedesigns.com for exchange requests.

o Approved damaged items will be couriered back at no cost.

6. Inspection Standards

o Exchanges will be issued only if items pass the outlined quality inspection.
